Hi,
I've just bought a Brava 1.9 TD100 sx and would like to tune the engine a bit to get some more power. Unfortunately, it seems difficult to find any tuning parts or advice for this engine. Can anyone help with any tips or suggestions as it'd be appreciated?
Cheers.

is it a 'TD' or a 'JTD' if its a TD then I dont think theres much about, on the other hand tho' if its a JTD then Angel tuning can release a few more horses in return for folding.

It's an ordinary TD unfortunately so i'm having to seek alternatives to electronic tuning such as that offered by angel.

pull the intercooler off and clean out all the crap in there, that usually makes them feel a bit faster also you could blank off the egr valve, thats works great on jtds it might make yours run better.

blank off the egr valve??
where and what is it?
might clean out the intercooler, do you mean internally?, is ther likely to be much crap in there?
sorry for all the q's.:I

the egr is on the exhaust manifold(can diaphram with a vac pipe attatched) which lets exhaust gases into the inlet manifold via a long pipe, block the pipe if you want.
it may free a few hp?
yes internaly, it should be full'o'crap.

You could even get the boost turned up on the turbo and the fuelling altered to match at a diesel specialists which is a chesp way of making it quicker:)
