Hi
I had posted this in the wrong section, so have re-posted it here, hope thats ok
I have some major problems with my much loved Bravo and was wondering if anyone here would have any ideas as i have run out completely. It has been running lumpy on cold mornings for a while but soon clears up and has had no other problems. On Monday we went on a 160 mile round trip to manchester in it and had no problems. But when i started it up on Tuesday it was mis-firing and would only start with the throttle pressed. Even then it was incredibly lumpy and just sounded wrong altogether. Whenever i approach an island or ease off the power the car cuts out without warning. I changed the spark plugs and leads and found that 3 of the spark plugs were sitting in oil. I cleaned this out but it has since returned. And there is also oil in the fuelinjector sensor/switch which connects from the engine to the carb again i cleaned this out but after running the engine it had returned. The car seems to sound ok when you rev it but terrible when it is left to idle and more often than not just cuts out now.
As i said i have completely run out of ideas, and it is now undrivable until i can sort it. if anyone has any ideas i would be really grateful to hear them.
Thanks alot
