Could be many things from a fuse, to bad conection, to faulty motor etc. If you've already checked the correct fuse.

Check the relay for the sunroof is working. If you bought the car from a garage take it back for them to fix, if not goto a scrap yard, behind the ceiling light, get the motor out for the sunroof and you'll see a black relay IIRC. Take this out of a few cars incase the one you removed from the first car was dud and swap it with yours. If you want take a motor aswell incase yours has packed in.

If your good with a multimeter test the switch is working, power is getting to the motor etc etc.

When I took my Brava on the test drive, they let me go out on my own, so I pulled it into a layby and had a good luck round it and noticed the sunroof didnt work then. When I got back to the garage I said yes I'll have the car and can you look at the sunroof as it doesnt work, It's probably just a fuse or something.

When I went to collect it the following week, It turned out they couldnt get it to work, So they sent it to a Fiat dealer who changed the whole sunroof mechanism, electrics, glass and all, and gave the garage a nice bill for £490 pound for their troubles.

I was waiting for them to say they wanted me to pay for it, but they didnt.

it started working and now packed in again whilst open i have manged to manually close to sunroof but broke the blooming console so gotta replace that so was wondering do you think it would just be better to replace the whole of sunroof motor ??

if it worked and then stopped again it suggests the motor isnt the problem, more likely to be the relay or a wiring fault. do a quick test by giving the motor a direct live and earth with it removed to see if it works ok, thats better than buying a motor you dont need.
