hi all. My fiat bravo 1.4 sx is making a loud noise when I excelarate, however when I push the clutch down, the noise goes away. I think it happens in all gears, its like an increase in noise the faster I go. Could this be something to do with my gearbox or beariing or something? please help. Im pissed off![V][V][V]

Is the clutch slipping? or the bearing could be gone.

sounds like box trouble too me but pretty much impossible for me too tell without driving it.

I've suffered the same thing on my 1.6 Marea for ages. Doesn't seem to be fatal, just a gearbox thing. It did go away briefly after a service, so it might be the gearbox needs a bit of oil.

I've done the mod shown in the Marea/Technical forum, and taken the pipe from the from of the airbox - now I can't hear the noise above the induction roar!!
