I've a '98 Brava 1.6 ELX with 2 problems that i hope some one might be able to help me out with:
  1. The two bolts at the front of the passanger side front Suspension arm conecting it to the subframe, keep loosening off. Is there any way of stoping this happening, should there be a locking nut on them?
  2. I think that I broke my drivers door Latch at new year when it froze. I have managed to get into the door but I have not been able to take out the Latch as the door is stuck in the locked position. Is there any way I could get the door open to remove the latch? Any ideas would be helpfull?

1. there is no need for any nuts at all. if your bolts keep coming loose i would think they must be threaded, which is bad. try using a bit of water tape on the threads.

2. use your key in the lock barrel

Cheers i'll try that with the bolts.

with regads to your other sugestion, when i use the key in the lock barrel it only activated the central locking.

I had the external door handle off the door at the weekend, the two wires that are attached to it move up & down really easlly. basically i think that the part of the latch which is moved by wires to open the lock is broken.
