Technical Poor fuel economy.

A couple of posts below there is a guy talking about poor fuel economy on his 1.4. I have the same problem with the 1.6 16v it seems to drink petrol even when not being driven hard. Ive had it serviced and used an engine flush but it seems the same as before. Is this just a fiat thing????

How bad are we talking?

You should be getting at least 35mpg.

You could try an ecotek valve and an induction kit. These certainly seem to have helped people with 1.6 bravos before.

my Fiat Bravo ( sx 1.6 16v 90Ps ) takes 11- 12 litres/ km
is this normal ? or is my lambda probe broken ?
please help i do not know what to do

i hope lambda probe is called like this it is the thing which puts the gas in the engine
