1.4 starting problem

Can anyone help with 1.4SX starting problem? My son car died due to key code fault. I sent ECU away for repair which they were unable to do, resulting in a trip to the breakers to get a new ECU-encoder and key.
After fitting the car tries to start but there appears to be a timing problem. I have now changed the TDC sensor but I still have the same problem-help please!

Re: tony H

if you had a key code fault then the key code light must have been remaining illuminated constantly, is it now switching off when you try to start the engine?
