Lads, sounds similar to the other starting problems.

When I first turned the key the car went a bit nuts and tried to close an already closed sunroof and turned the alarm on and off. Tried again and it wouldn't start. Somethings turning as there's a whirring and whining noise, maybe the starting motor ? I've no clue as I was at first convinced it was the battery as the problem was only ever early in the mornings and I moved the car last night and it started first time no bother.

I'm been told I could now need a new ECU, how does this sound to anyone ?

i wudnt have thought the sunroof was connected to the ECU... but sounds like u mite have some major eletrical probs.. i remember seing a post in General section about someone needing a new ECU for a bravo.. mite have some info there..

what ecu were you told you needed?
with the sunroof and none staring it sounds like somethings up with the....car alarm?
