hi, basically i have had couple problems with my bravo one after another  but this one is another lol, when i put my foot down on the clutch i hear a very loud knocking which i can feel on da pedal and also hear it from outside, i reckon it's the slave cylinder but wasn't 100% sure, any advice? Another thing is after i drive my bravo for a good 30 mins or so the gearbox seems to get stiff and sticky to put into gears, any reason why?

What engine?

About the second problem: I had the same situation with my 1.2. Though i am not pretty sure what was the problem, i found out that my gearbox fluid was low (~1lt where 1.7lt is the normal). But my clutch disc was also on it's way out, so i can't be pretty sure which one was the main fault..

i have no idea myself. thanks for that information though i will check it out and get back to you on it. It's a 1.6 aswell

the slave cylinder is simply a piston, it cant be making the noise. it sounds like your release bearing (aka throw out bearing, thrust bearing) is the problem, it could also be your pilot bearing if the noise only begins when the pedal is fully pressed, rather than half pressed.

the difficulty selecting gears when hot is often due to low gearbox oil (or none at all).
