Styling Coupe 20vt Alloys on a Bravo

I'm in the process of doing this. But found out that the standard alloy bolts on the Bravo are too short for the Coupe 20vt alloys, as the Coupe 20vt alloys have a shallower bolt hole than the Bravo ones.

Luckily, I have a load of old Coupe 20vt bolts, from when I changed the Coupe wheels to Dare V5's. But I'd left them at my workshop in Southend. Got someone to send them up to me over the weekend, so I should be able to fit the Coupe alloys to the Bravo in the next couple of days.

Just thought I'd post this up on here as the Bravo wheel bolts do seem quite short, and I'd have thought would be a problem with most other aftermarket alloys.

Incidentally for the Coupe alloys, you need 30mm long bolts.

i found the standard steel wheel bolts were too short, but the standard alloy wheel bolts managed to get a coupe of turns of thread in.

Strange, as physically they would fit. Just standard Bravo bolt issue.

Exactly the same problem I had with mine. I have the Bravo alloy bolts which just grab by a couple of turns, but certainly not enough to hold them safely.

But I have the Coupe Alloy bolts coming up from Southend, so they should be fine.

If I do have an issue with the standard tyres, I just get them replaced for 195/45 r16 or 205/45 r16. That'll bring them virtually to the same rolling radius as the standard Bravo rims and tyres.
