Hi all,
My car has been suffering from flat a spot and also is not reving cleanly from time time, it has been suggested by a garage that this could be the Air Mass meter saying goodbye, now my question is, how likely is this to be the case and also can anyone give me the bosch part number for such a thing so I can replace it myself (or my bro jami can (y) ).Any help for a newbie mucho appreciated, thanks

Sorry forgot to mention its on a 99 HGT 155

Nice one bro, glad to see the brains are still in the familly.................... now just gota get you some :D Thanks though, will see if I can get the part now (y)

on a 5pot id say yes it could easily be the MAF. might be a better idea to test using one that you know is working before you go buying one (maybe jami can donate his)

Hi Jug, thats a good idea, sadly I have just bought one :bang: but it should be delivered soon and I will report back, thanks again for all the replies (y)

Hey guys, fitted the new MAF and the problem is gone. All I can say is WOW, I am grinning like a hooligan, it seems the car has not been right since I bought it three months ago. Much quicker and more responsive. Thanks for all your help, and cheers to my bro(y)
