Technical Windscreen

I developed a crack in my windscreen the other day so i spoke to a guy from auto glass and he said it would be safe to drive just get it done before mot however its started getting bigger by the day. anyone know why? seems to be when i have heater on window.lol.

anyway anyone suggest cheapest place to go and give me an idea of cost?

If you are fully comp on your isurance or have glass protection it would cost you less than £80 usually. Check your policy.

will cost about £100-120 from a big chain like autoglass, you can get it half price if you shop about and find a local place, but check the glass first as many people use aftermarket panes that vary in design and quality.

Cold windscreen and heat dont go to well together the heat from the heater is causing the gcrack to spread further.
