Help...I have a Brava 1999 JTD105 since new. Has now done 136,500 miles and has been a great car. Just lately I have a problem in that after running for 30/40 mins reaching normal running temp when I turn off, the car will not re-start, engine turns over no problem but will not fire up. If I leave it for approx 1 hour to cool down the car starts first time. Anyone got any thoughts?

Crank position sensor. Costs about £20 for the part. Takes maybe an hour to fit.

Probably same place as 2.4JTD.. Up next to the starter motor on the back of the engine, reading the flywheel. Sure someone will check that for you. If it's similar it will be held in with a RIBE bit. Cheers Fiat.
