right currenty ordering all the stuff 4 the front end(y)

but what is the X member and where does it sit? will i need one? i know what the slam panel is but i dont wanna order that and then find i need the cross member or vice versa!

thanks

slam panel is the bit that goes across the top, the bit the bonnet slams against.
the cross member is usually the part that is bolted to the subframe, which has steering/suspension parts attached to it.
the subframe is the bigger thicker bit that is attached to the chassis.
not all cars have a seperate cross member, some just have a subframe.

Handy to know that, thanks Jug (y)
