![]() | spraying?.... help :p now, on the front of my bonnet, its chipped alot, and it really looks a mess up close. now what im wondering, its just the front bit at the angle, circled in the attached picture, now would i be able to spray this with paint, then lacquer from halfords and it would look good? ![]()

![]() | Re: spraying?.... help :p It's metallic paint, impossible even for the experts to blend perfectly on a small patch. And that's assuming you get a good paint match in the first place. I would do the whole bonnet and see if you can get somewhere to custom match the paint by shade, not just by code.

Salesmen always think we can work miracles just so they don't have to put it through the bodyshop and eat their commision. but you cant do it! Not to a level you would be happy with anyway.
