quality badges are fairly resistant to weather.
little residue will be left and is easily removed however if its say left for 2-3 years then the paint can fade around it leaving a shape of where the badge was

the paint wont actually fade, the laquer will, this is restorable.,.,
if you wont to remove an adhiesive badge just pour some hot water on it to soften the glue or use a hairdryer,heatgun and it should come off pretty easy.,,,

Jug has a nice tip on how to remove them as he did on his, use fishing line or something?

On this theme, I was wondering where I could get an additional badge for my Stilo like Bo-Select@ has, with S T I L O across the boot. I like it but don't know where to get the letters! Any ideas?

Aaaaaah! The simple ones are the best.

Places like Hell-Frauds do seperate silver lettering badges so you can stick on whatever you like as long as its a-z or 0-9. bout a quid a letter i think.

Finally got round to taking off my fiat badge today- unfortunately there is a fair difference between the paint around it and the paint underneath, so checked on ebay for the italia fiat badges (with the red, white and green on them instead of blue) and found this too:

I had thought about spacing the stilo letters out, as I'd said earlier in the thread, but think the paint difference will rule that out now. Gave it a polish with some turtle wax and it's still pretty noticable

you want to get some T-Cut original for that - polish is not quite enough.

Tcut so it matches and then plaster on wax/polish to preserve the finish.

Coolio, I'll get some tomorrow and see how it goes, if it looks ok under the fiat badge then the stilo badge also comes off! Cheers!
