Didnt know where to put this but I hope this is the right place...

I have a bottle of the savage tail light tinting spray and I was wondering if I have to laquer the rear lights after i have sprayed them???

I used the spray on my Side Repeaters and didnt laquer them and they are fine but i am not sure wether i have to do the rear ones?

cheers buddy i mite try it now...

did you just spray it straight on the lights or do somewthing to them before hand?

Mine were matte also after I finished so I added a touch (2 light coats) of lacquer for a satin look and to protect it. When I wanted a shiny coat on my wheels, I had to use tons of the stuff! Try some paint thinners, I imagine that will get it off. Or a spare set of lights from a scrapyard :)

they come out nice and shiney with the savage (y)

ps, they look rather dull in the pics lol, they are very shiney in real life.

My swishy lights, one sides shiney and ones a little mattee, ran out of clear coat at the end. Not sure of the legality of them however as the reflectors are gone, the bulbs still shine through perfectly though so hopefully I won't have someone fly up my ass.

You can sand them back if you F*cked it up just use a light paper and keep it wet.,.,
if your gonna start from scratch id recommend rubbing the lights down with p1800-p2000 just to give the paint key(something to grip to).,.,
As with all laquer based paints, try to put it on thick but not thick enough to run.,.,

I read somewhere than you can buy a special paint thinner in a can that will get rid of the tint if uve tinted too much and its MOT day.
