hi my fiat 1.1 is lowered at the front and has got a few catches on the front abrathn confused: think i spelt it right) bumper. is it a buy a new bumper job or can it b fixed? and how much wud it cost to either replace or fix? the catches arnt reali that bad but the bumper is chiped as can b seen in the picture but it also has a little catch near it which is making it a bit wobbly

the word your looking for is abarth but thats not an abarth apron its an aftermarket.nothing a good bodyshop cant fix

thanks carrotface but roughly how much wud it cost to fix as my dad has said that the bracket that fix the bumper to the body are lose and he thinks i did most of the damage but it wasnt as sum of the damage was already on as wen i was polishing it i take great care and luk at the bumper the most

Depends where you go i guess,but shouldnt be more than £50.

Ask around for a quote,but keep away from big bodyshops as theyll want to renew the whole thing and repaint.

thanks mate we hav a body shop near us and the onli time i can get it in is nxt week as i dnt get paid till thn n i need the car 4 work will they need the car for more thn a day or wot? sori if im bugin ya i just wanna know how to sort this out lol

Taking it to rally repaints? They did our corolla when it was hit on a roundabout and they made a tidy job.

Loving that cinq yeah if you do it yourself i would just use tape to cover it cos im lazy. but hopefully should be fine at a bodyshop and not cost that much neither

well im sorting the gear box/ clutch 1st onli prob i dnt know which is causing me probs such as a clunking noise that happens when i put the fiat into reverse as it is reali embarassing wen it happens and it dnt help with idiots laught at my car so it makes me feel a bit small sumtimes but i like my cinquento the way it is

check the gearbox/rear engine mounts

Does this clunk shake the car? Mine used to clunk and shake then I realised if it put it into Reverse slowly and gently with the clutch fully down all is well.

thanks guys for the advise... hopefully the car will b sorted as i hav broken down twice in the last couple of days and it is now in the garage gettin fixed
yh the clunk does shake the car! its reali bad and keeps puttin me off reversing.... will try and put into reverse gently hopefuly will work.
thanks custard i will have a word with the garage and see if they can have a luk at the engine mounts and the gearbox.
oh neva mind will have a luk for another paint shop think i found one in selby as they did a gud job on my dads BMW so worth a luk... talk to ya later and will tell ya how i get on at the garage

sounds like rear engine mount, if you look under car is there a bit that stands out as being alot lower, should be around inbetween the two front wheels, slightly to the passenger side

thanks u guys but in the garage had the car and been sorted thankfuly it was the clutch arm or sumot was siezed up and i think that has sorted it out but i dnt know yet as the car is still at the garage gettin the overheating problem that started just b4 it went into the garage (not my week) its thought that it cud b the radiator cap or heat gaskit or sumot reali major.... not gud reali gettin loads of advise to get rid of the car but reali reali dnt wanna
