Hey,

Currently i've got a 1.2 Punto Sx completely un-modified. Was my sisters, but she's never used it so i've 'acquired' it for my birthday.

The un-modified part is a problem. Not loving it at all. :bang:
Looking for a rough idea how much it would be to get a full bodykit (window tinting not included, also spoiler not needed but prices with would be handy), lowered down so i can keep the 17" alloys on that are on it just now untill money is available for them, and also a new hood. Seen Evo style ones that are looking good, but any cool recommendations would do.

Its currently a very dull looking blue, the car looks exactly like the one posted in the classified ads on the forum homepage. Got a rough idea for the full body spray costs?

Cash isn't a problem, but would just like to know how far my credit card is gonna have to stretch...

Oh, and I live in edinburgh. Would be willing to go almost anywhere in mainland UK or get home delivery for the parts, and about 200miles for respray.

Cheers people. As you can tell i'm not all hyped up, or 'knowing' of what to ask for to be honest, so any help would be appreciated. I have MSN if any of you would like to chat to me about it, cause I need help here lol.

Cheers guys.

Welcome to the forum. Body kits can range from about £400 to £1000s. Depends on the kit you like, what it's made from, etc etc, I'd google Punto bodykits or something similar and price things I like up. The EVO bonnets are just universal vents you can bond to the bonnet but don't do any cooling unless you get an actual weld in vent where you cut out a hole for them to be welded into the bonnet and aid cooling. I also find photoshop an invaluable tool for trying mods out on my car to get a better idea of the outcome. Unsure about lowering puntos, will be plenty of threads in the punto section about lowering no doubt, although I'd hazard a guess at -40mm may cause rubbing with 17s (?). Full body spray again depends on condition of car's existing paint, prep work, location and the type paint you are using. Again I'd say you're looking at maybe £500/£600 upwards for a respray.

Hope that gives you a better idea :)

i'll be honest and ask you to consider the car before you start to mod it.
so many people mod there middle range car and then a year down the road want more performance.
you may want to consider a faster model as a base.
however if performance isnt an issue then go for it.
