would no more nails work when fitting sideskirts to my punto?

also, I have a Punto 60S - there are rubber grommets along the bottom of the sill - can you get some kind of "rawlplug" so you can fit the sideskirts with screws?

I don't know if you car screw the sills on your particular car but no more nails is not suitable for sticking the sills sorry.

No more nails wouldn't do a good job of sticking skirts on with, once it gets a little bit wet it'll go all soggy and your skirts would fall off. Best off getting a waterproof bonding adhesive, Tigerseal is great stuff, Loctite do some as well which is transparent so perfect for filling every gap, I got some for £7.99 from B.M.S.

probably would have been good manners for the original poster to follow up the thread they posted for advice then

sorry... I just used the screws in the end and the skirts are very solid - so didn't use any adhesive...

DO NOT DO IT! Make sure they are securly attached to the car or they will get Stolen....

My ones did had to buy another pair.

But for the record I used Windscreen bonder and even that didn't hold, had to have then redone twice.
