Hi, i have a punto 5 door mk2 and i cant seem to fit the abarth side skirts. They have 3 clips but do not touch the underside of the car. I think i may need brackets of some kind? Can any one help?

my clips underneath done line up, but they have been on nearly a year and havent fallen off, just the tiger seal on the top holds them on

They are fine just being bonded on around the side? Do you have nothing keeping them tied down on the underneath at all?
they should be bonded all along the top as well, i have the black clip things on the bottom but most of then dont stay in place,
