i have bought a rear bumper off ebay in silver, but it has got a section of paint missing, will i need to re-paint the whole lot and lacquer or can i just spray this bit and then lacquer or will it be noticable like that? thanks!

thats what that bitch has done to my car, its a total strip rub down and restart job other wise it will flake within a day!!

Total strip?? Just rub the edges of the paint where it's come off with 600grit wet & dry (do it wet obviously) to break the edge of the original paint, then spot prime the affected area, then rub that down again with 600 & then top coat & lacquer.
