hi,

i have found bumpers for my sisters car but they are stone chipped, would i have to do a full coat- like if i was spraying it from yellow? or just a quick blow over to get rid of the stone chips?

any idea? thanks!

think its really bad though, so am going to re-spray, am i able to use spray cans from halfords?

nooooooooooooooo hellfrauds spray is crap i touched up my wing mirror once with there spray and it comes off after a couple of months u pay more but it better if you get it off the dealer

why not just spray the one you have? you see that **** colour 1 in my ebay the other day? they were normal black bumpers sprayed, was as smooth as a babies bum

i would spray hers but surely going to be harder? and then her car will have no bumpers on at some point.

i think that means prep. if so yes i did i got my mirror smashed off and i had to replace the cover i sanded it down and primiered it and sprayed and laquered it (excuse my spelling )

i have used halfords paint loads, somethings been in garden ages, and its still fine, i even sprayed onto plastic with no plastic primer or anything.

you cannot use ordinary acrylic primer on rigid plastic. it just cracks and comes off after a while. use a proper plastic primer. they are usually yellow. spray the whole bumper with it [once rubbed down]. it needs to cure 24 hrs before smoothing down. then spray the bumper colour.

Easy. Take bumpers off, prep/spray primer, fit bumpers back on if car's needed, take bumpers back off and spray top coats and lacquer
