Reversed into a pole . . . .didnt know it was there! Oops . . . Oh then a few days later a muppet in a siecento pulls out infront of a car, it brakes as do I, it moves to avoid siecento, its brakes are better than mine, I go into the back of the car that broke!!! Nothing to other car, photos below!

How much do you all reckon then it would cost to repair!!??:bang:

Owch lots of damage there. Bonnet, bootlid, front and rear bumpers.

Hope nothing else is twisted or crunched under the bonnet.

Whats the rear like? Any dents into the boot? Think scrap yards are going to be needed if you're going to do this economically.

Yeah boot is all pushed in on the inside. the plastics all broken i ripped it off in the end as it was being a pain!! I think my car will end up at the scrappy to be honest . . . so pissed off

nah headlight is fine, its the front bit sticking out/bumper poking in!

Oh, sorry to now triple post! just spent loads doing the clutch and new brakes and calliper grrrrrrr

Can you not claim from your insurers? I think a scrappies is your best bet if you want straight parts cheap, then you'll still have painting & fitting cost! I would say that you'll be looking at £1K from a bodyshop if they source the parts as well at least!

hmmmm think i will leave it as it is then perhaps *dare I say it* take a hammer to it!

What I meant was 'is the floor of the boot crumpled?' If so then you're looking at serious problems. If its just the bumper and the lid then just start searching the scrappies.

the boot floor is fine, its hard to describe, but the metal bit of the boot lip on the body of the car (not the boot lid bit) where the plastic contacts are which have the metal bits in to connect to the boot lid bit, thats bent at a strange angle . . . . darent open the boot to take apic!

but on the up side, the slam pannel on the bravo/a is bolt on. But it looks like you need a new rear panel for the boot.

also, there dont happen to be any members here in northampton who have a yellow sei are there??

what you didn't get the details??

You are looking at a good £1200 there to get it done by a cheapo bodyshop, as the rear panel will need replacing otherwise nothing will sit right/boot won't close etc.

I think you may be looking at a reshell there :(

AS in you find a car with duff engine or clutch, and swap yours into it. Much cheaper than trying to repair yours I'm afraid.

Good engine, 1.4? lol

Gonna buy a new boot and a new bumper from scrappie! :p
