they've done 40835 miles, i'd of replaced them at about 20k - 30k easily

Its a DIY task spark plugs are most of the time - save some dosh and stick a set of plug in

It should cost about £15 - £20, a punt in the dark i agree, but it never hurts

Hi the other thing I was thinking is one coil pack is morelli and the other is just a **** make do you think the cheaper coil pack is no good and I should change to a morelli one ?

Hi . Unlikely to be at fault..,
generally thing fail in THIS order;

Spark Plugs,
HT leads,
Coilpacks,
Low Tension wiring ( cars loom / connectors)
ECU itself

that's pretty much COST ££ - order too,
plugs are @£20, well worth doing them NOW..!!,

ALSO - a dodgy battery can cause running issues,
unless it's less than 3 years old , worth spending @£40 on a BOSCH replacement.. plenty of Panda threads covering this..,

hi again I have changed the coil packs got new leads now put new spark plugs in

car is miss firing / shuddering also like a putting sound from exhaust and when that happens the rpm counter goes down and its like car going to cut out I am really

now lol

Hi,
OK,
back to basics.., :)
have you 100% got the plug leads in the correct order.., easy mistake..

there is a pictorial in the "guides"..,

once you've done this, you can swap power from 1 coil pack to the other,

VERY carefully:eek: seeing which 2 of the 4 x exhaust manifold "branches" gets HOT ( firing cylinder) and which stay cold,

a water spray may be best for this..!!

Charlie
Hi again are the spark plugs preset ?

allegedly pre-gapped, but worth cheching.., should still run on 4 x cylinders though..,

you've got more basic issue, use the water spray to discover which cylinders are running..- getting hot..,

then swap spark supply around to see where you are,,
