Ok i am in the middle of spraying my dash (well just finishing off actually) Then i happen to come across a problem. Does anyone have any idea how to spray my pasenger airbag? I have done all the rest by sanding down to make it smooth, How durable is the plastic on top of the air bag when unpluged? If i sand it down with wet or dry would it pop? Any ideas?

This is a sneek preview, it still looks a little rough as i had just laquered some bits. What do you think? Will have better pics tomorrow when i get it put back together.

Anyone got any ideas?? This is what my car looked like this afternoon before i started putting my dash back in. I won't show a pic of my hands but you can be sure that after getting that loom back in its right place my hands are all cut up and brused. Will show a pic of the finished dash tomorrow. As long as the rain stays away.

No i am still having trouble mounting it in. I think i have figured it out tho. I am gonna get the dremel in there tomorrow to take out the little nobely thing sticking out of the back. Should have done it when i had the dash off but i forgot. Should be flush by tomorrow. I hope.

did you have a lot of problems with taking the dash off? i have Mk1 and was thinking about spraying my dash too ;)

The hardist part with taking it off was having to take my steering colum off. Apart from that and all the cuts on my hands it was quite easy.
