Hi all, new to forum, usually deal with Ford's as a ford tech, but got the girl friend a cinquecento as she always wanted a pink 1...

am respraying it 'Lady Penelopy Pink', the same pink used on the Special edition Pink Street KA's for Thunderbirds the movie..

been struggling to source a colour coded front bumper as im too lazy to DA the bumper flat and dont really like any of the kits available..

have however got a siecento bumper im looking to fit as looks a lot meaner on the boxier body than the std cinquecento bumpers..

Has anyone done this and if so, got any pics ?

Have only had a little play so far, and the 2 front bolts line up, and believe im going to only really have to modify the joint to the wing, which on the cinq is straight and the seicento curves, so gotta cut the curve off and fabricate up a bracket / make it look good.. also got to check for head light fitment / spacing, other than that, looks very agressive..

oh, may also loose the front towing eye, but still got a rear one as got a cinq sporting rear bumper

anyhow, any one done this ?

any posts / pics that you know of showing what work was undertaken ? not so sure on the skirts, n would hafta sort out the gap between the bumper n bonnet, but prooves it can be done!

nothing a bit of bonding plastic glue and cutting up the old cinq bumper cant sort

what has been done in the past for this is rather than modify the whole sei bumper to fit, the top of the cinq bumper has been taken and moulded onto the top of the sei bumper so that you dont have to mess around with the fixings etc. the sei ones are very different and where the bumper meets the wing is also very different

using the cinq top and sei bottom and moulding the 2 together sorts this problem!

8 years later I come along and show a some pictures of a cinquecento with a seicento bumper, but it also has a seicento bonnet
