Its not a fiat I have anymore but on my boot the paint has chipped away to bare metal all along the bottom of it. where it sits against the bumper.

JW what the best repair may be for it. If I put a rubber bump strip or something over it will i still need to treat the metal and paint over to stop it rusting? Or would I get a decent enough repair with paint?

Anything over the top paint wise is better then NOTHING

Then stick a strip over it

Why not make it a black section - so it looks deliberate for putting things on

That way - you can repair it again in the future
