Hi guys I recently smooth sided my punto mk2 but I noticed that the laquer just above the strips is peeling slightly. Theres also a problem on my bumper where it looks like the laquer is cracking aswel. Ive seen a few people sanding the laquer flush and re laquering the problem area or else running clear nail varnish on the peeling part. Anyone tried any of these methods? Havent really got the money for a respray but if needs be ill have to save!

lacquer peeling = Respray or donor parts to match

If your good with the spray and Mopping then you might be able to repair it

the bump strip been removed allowed water to ingress and its peeling away

As for the bumper, it looks like it was baked in the sunshine a little too much to me.... weird the lines follow eachother tho
