Hi everyone,

Recently bought a second hand cooling fan to fit my car, my fiat punto is a 1.2 2003 hatchback, 3 door.

The cooling fan said on the site that it would fit my car but when attempting to change it, the bolts were in the wrong place.

I've atteched a photo of the old cooling fan, and the one I mistakenly bought.

The question is I'm struggling to find where to buy a correct replacement, and I'm confused whether my car is a MK2 or MK3?

Many thanks in advance

The difference is if the car has a/c or not id reckon. The correct fan shouldn't hard to find. Why not buy one new from your dealer. Fiat parts are not that expensive. Itd save you alot of hassle.

You've got to be joking right? Have you seen the price of a dealer supplied OEM unit vs used for £30-£50 in a scrappy.

Why am I joking. If you want the correct part with a twelve month warranty why not pay that bit more for it. The fan motors give loads of trouble so why buy a £50 part that could last a week. Look what the op has had to go through in trying to find the correct one. They've already bought a part that was incorrect. Wheres the saving there.

£50 part is cheaper than a £300 part, not everyone is made of money. OP could buy a wrong one and have one fail in another 6 months and still be £150 in pocket.

I suspect after 4 weeks they've already fixed it,;)

or they are waiting for thier loan approval for a new FIAT one,
