Search running....... Lights

Hi all,
I've just installed some new sidelights, which were supposed to be "Error cancelling" canbus fitting. But when starting the engine, I get a message on the dash board saying "Search Running, Lights" and the Warning light is on, but after about 5 minutes, the warning light goes out. Does anyone have any idea why?

Car doesn't like them, all canbus networks are different so they may be ok in some cars, and not othes.

Probably not 'E' marked so not techincally road legal anyway. Normally a case of putting up with it, or replacing them with OEM spec bulbs.
