I have issues with both of my doors, the drivers side is a little out of line (top and rubbing strip) and the passenger door seems to be opening too far and won't stay open?

Michael

sounds like you need to re align the hinges, im not suggesting this, but on my old 306 n micra, local garage used a plank of wood. job done.

less pikey way would be to get new hinges i think.

as for door opening too far, sounds like the check strap.

(dont worry im prepared for someone to put me in my place with another explanation)

Thanks for the help! I thought that it would be a case of a new check strap! As for the other door, how would I use a piece of wood to re align the hinges? To be honest I'm not too bothered by this, it's just a little annoying but by no means the end of the world.

well with my old micra and 306, the doors had dropped (due to age i think) so we litterally put a plank or wood under the door, while it was open and lifted it up. i dont suggest doing that on a new car tbh. could you find the hinges in a scrappy? or buy em new from fiat
