hi, i am driving a fiat PALIO 1.6 GTX.

please guide me , my palios left headlight assembly has accumilated DUST & WATER droplets inside the light reflector.

i found out the problem is due to a faulty fit of the rear lids (which we open to change head light bulb). but it was too last, the fault lid has lead to DUST & WATER DROPLETS inside the reflector.

now i have correctly fixed the rear LIDS, still cannot remove the dust and waterdrops. the headlight looks like a completely sealed unit. is it possible to remove the front lense and clean it.?

Only ever had this problem on works vehicles (letting water in or condensation forming). the 'cure always seemed to be the same thing - drill a small hole at the lowes point to let the water drain then a few minutes with the beams on to dry out the insides.

A mate had a sealed unit which was letting water in some years back & he spent an age taking it out & carefully slicing the sealant with a razor blade, he thoroughly dried everything before putting it all back together with a good bead of sealant.

Another mate who is a bit of a pikey actually removed his unit & washed it in warm soapy water then gave it a rinse with plenty of hot water then put it in a warm oven for a while to dry right out.

I would have thought, though, that a blast from an airline would be enough to clear out the dust and the heat off the beams would be enough to dry out any water condensate?
