Hey all,

You may notice I'm a total newb here, so forgive me if I've got this in the wrong place.

Recently I was involved in an accident and pretty much the entire passenger side needs some form of work (wheel arch dented, otherwise mainly paintwork).

I'm not that great when it comes to cars, so I believe I need to get some quotes for the insurance lot only I have no idea where to go. Trawling through some of these threads and Google, I've found that Palmer and Philips in Oxford isn't too bad and there's Thames Motor Group in Slough. So does anyone have any recommendations? Also what're the benefits to going to a Fiat Specialist? Seriously, I am a total newb...

tl;dr Any places in Oxford you'd recommend I go to get my car fixed?

Thanks guys :)

Decidedly OLD post I know,
judging by my past experience with insurance , You may still be waiting.(n)

anyway..,
P + P are good mechanically BUT you need a bodyshop,
MOST fiat dealerships will send the work-out as it's specialist stuff,
I'm from south OXON , and can recommend,
Hemmings - abingdon,
and
RCS motors - Wantage,
there are bound to be other good places , but I KNOW these have produced A1 results in the past.. they Actually painted the Launch cars from the "Cowley-works".

Cheers fellas, ended up getting it done about a week after that post as I had to be in Bristol for Uni. Brilliant timing to get hit eh?

Thanks for the suggestions though, will keep them in mind for the future (fingers crossed won't be needed again) :)
