Today i got back from college to discover that the rear left arch has a large dent in it, chipped paint and a chipped rear light . I currently have builders working on my house so i asked them, and they fully denied it :bang:( even though it was obviously them). I've attached two pictures below, could anybody tell me how much around this would cost to get fixed ?

I know the damage desnt look too bad on the pictures but in peson it looks worse :(

depends where you get it done and how good you want it done

you get what you pay for

go for the sympathy vote with the bodyshop explain what happened see if they would do you a deal beacause it was done to you in such a s**t way

Don't waste your time...bodyshop repairers are all mercenary buggers! :)

There's massive variation in what a bodyshop will charge and the quality of the service they give.

When I had the front end of my C2 GT resprayed (solid black paint) bumper, valance, bonnet, both front wings and blending in on the doors, I had several estimates ranging from £400 to £1200...Compromised at the £800 quote and tbh it was a **** poor job.

As with any garage work I think it's good if you know them personally as your likely to get a much better job...at a much fairer price!

There's not too much surface damage on your's so it might just be a case of getting the dent out, dead cheap if the paint stays intact. (y)

Thanks very much everyone, my mate knows a guy that owns the local body shop, I'll get my mate to take it in for me as I know he'll get the best price for me. Hopefully it wont be too much of a dent in my pocket as the car and the insurance has milked me to the bone as a 17 year old driving a GPS is'nt cheap!
