a crack in my bumper

a crack in my bumper

No, not through personal experience, but possibly yes...

I recently had a courtesy car from Bollingmore's Citroen, which had a small dent in the rear bumper when I collected it. I commented that such knocks were so frustrating because they can not be repaired, and they said "Oh yes they can - no problem, we just call in Mr Magic".

The only thing is I can't really remember the name they said, but Bollingmore's do not have their own bodyshop, so if you call them and ask the service desk (Gary or Paul) they might just be able to give you the contact details.

Let us know how you get on.

this crack is on the bother sides of the bumper as well. how much do u reckon it would cost to fix? :S

all my local body shops part from one has said no, the remaining bodyshop has told me to get a glue that is used to stick door panels on, which has a hardener at the end and mixes with the glue at the nosal, cost around £30
- anyone know what its called? :S
- anyone got any other surgestions to what glue would be strong enough

You shouldnt bond plastic together with anything other than the exact plastic type of the part you want to bond.

I Imagine the part is abs, it will break again if it is glued as a bumper is a flexible part.

it will be a 2part glue, we use it sometimes on quick easy jobs at work, i think its like bondloc or something to that nature.

If you try to glue it it will be harder to repair second time around!
