This might sound like a daft question but i want to ask you guys first before i go doing it, i got a smoke tinting kit today and i was just wonderin do you take of the tail light cluster and spray inside of the light or do you spray on the outside of the light
cheers

hi BRAVOHAZ, take lights out, clean and degrease, lightly scuff[rub]light with some 1500 up wet/dry paper, clean again, paint light coats with can about 6 inches away and coats 15 mins apart.Dont over tint as if near jet black will fail a MOT.
[And always do this with heat involved,heatgun/hairdryer/small heater,as will make paint stick better and less chance of runs] ps its the outsides you paint.
Hope this helps,if so hit the thanks/thumb icon.(y)

its easy enough to tint the lights, just remove them from the car, give them a spray a few coats to however dark you want them, leave them to dry, wack them back in, jobs a good 1. ive done mine, mine are pretty much blacked out.

well mine is 1999 on a t plate what mark would that be?
Could be either at that year.

Mk1 has the classic mechanical odometer
Mk2 has digital odometer like this pic
