my punto is apparently gun grey metal ,
after much searching and deliberation over the bonnet, engine etc ,
i am still no closer as to finding the actual code ..

so if anyone knows the code for gun grey metal ...
PLZ help !!

Have you checked for a sticker with the code on inside the boot lid or in the sparewheel well.
Also your handbook may have sticker listing the paintcode as well if you have it.

Done a bit of research and Gun Metal translated to Italian is Grigio Scuro.

Which by chance Fiat do list as a colour (code 900)however it may not be this.

what year is your car,ill look at book tommorrow[but you can take filler cap to any paintshop and they will mix exact match in a can or paint-stick[2 screws i think takes off].

hi again ,theres loads of different shades of grey,think older punto code in boot,newer punto on landing panel,[its a 3 number 1 letter code like 560/A],

best idea is as said take petrol flap to paintshop and they will check with there fiat colour charts......

Thats why you will need petrol flap,to get closest to colour,

i know its crazy them doing 5 diffo shades its just how some maufacturers paint these cars in diffo years [hence 5 shades],
