for a bodyshop to repair my mk1 seicento sporting?

it needs a front bumper, bonnet, slam panel, p/s front wing, headlamp and indicator, and a radiator :(

in fiat black, painted and fitted..... just so i have a rough idea whats a good price. i would repair it myself but i have nowhere to do the work and the parts are hard to almost impossible to get hold of here unless its through ebay :bang:

i've got some ridiculous quotes already, i think the car might just get written off if the price's i just got are right enough...

so what roughly would be an okay price for all that?

This is the damage btw.. :((n), just for a rough idea

new genuine prices will write your car off.

Go to a scrap yard and get your parts from there.
or from ebay.

bonnet £50
wing £35
H,light and indicator £25
slam panel £20
radiator £15

These are rough estimates.

to spray you should be looking around £150-£200

or find a black one being broken so you dont need the bits spraying(y) the only problem youll have is i dont think the slam panels are removeable? they arent on cinqs as mines a bit bent i had to bend it out with a windup trolley jack

youd be best off swapping the bits yourself or getting a mate to help/do it to keep costs down, i reckon if you went to a scrappy to get the whole lot with a bit of haggling for £70 or so?

cheers

sam

depends how bad it is bent :(
If not bolted in then it will be spot welded in. easy if you have the tools like me but not really a diy job as needs to be mig/spot welded back in. doesn't the slam panel bolt between the headlights on these cars..

Is much easier to pull out if not too bent. careful if jacking as you need to jack off of something.

Don't think the slam panel will need replaced, doesn't look to be that bent in!

Just get wing. bonnet and headlight, and see if the slam panel will bent back out for each bits to fit correctly!

Ming

ths slam panels in 2 and touching the engine!!, i think the picture may well be decieving, (n)

the only way i could get the bonnet open was prying it with a big bar.

cheers for the replys guys!(y)
