wet n dry 600 grit 800 grit 1000 grit 1200 grit 1500 grit then metal polish, or use a buffer if you have one

yes , i'w polished my rims like that .

clean the rims , use an abrasive solutin and polish the rims with a grynder . after you obtain the shy effect , spray some "clear paint"(i don't know how it say's in english) for protection . good luck

"Lacquer"

you cant use "clear paint"(i think its fine to use this name, as well as "lacquer") on tailpipe-won't last for long because of heat

ya , depending what do you want to polish .. on the rims , the "lacquer" will worck and will keep a longer time the chrome look .

IME (and my RAAF father's) Turtlewax. Makes a sheet of ally come up like a mirror. Not sure what product it is, but it comes/used to come in a green bottle/
