hi there. ive jus bought a mk 2 punto, and i think the owner before me had put door guards on, but then must of taken them off, and has now left glue on there an is really hard to get off without taking the paint off with it, ant body got ne suggestions or suttle door guards to cover it up,

warm up the glue then wipe off. A hairdrier might work mind the paint tho or hot water. I seen people use an old credit card to scrape off then a bit of t-Cut!

Dont use white spirit or terps, it can fade the paintwork and there's no cheap cure for that.

Heat it up and scrape off what you can using an old credit card, then use autoglym intensive tar remover, worked really well for me (y)
