Don't pay then. I wouldn't.

Go with a couple of mates to collect it if you're scared. Most places will intimidate you and bully you into paying for it, you didn't ask for it to be done like that so you don't pay. Just like if you weren't happy with the quality you wouldn't pay either.

Townman, is it Nav your dealing with? He's usually pretty reasonable but generally full of ****.

When you go to get the car, like has been said, take a magnet with you, or give the panel a few taps and see what it sounds like.

Iam sure Bradford has one good bodyshop to offer...where it is I've no idea, I think we need to find it

you have no idea, i REALLY need to find a decent place before I go back to uni, but i've looked all over, and all i can find are cow boys and old giffers that only give a hoot about classics and charge silly prices!

You get what you pay for tbh.

try looking where other people dont. places that fix cars for insurance compainys.
My dad works at one (he is a recovery driver and motorcycle mechanic)
im getting my whole car prepped (and theres lots of it to do) and painted for £200. and this aint no yard paint job

Clearly you've never had the pleasure of dealing with this bodyshop. you pay a lot, and you get not a strictly bad finish, but just a total lack of attention to detail, like they really don't care.

i got my car done from enkahnz and they did a fantastic job. i got a full respray and bodykit fitted they were reasonably priced compared to other bodyhops quoting me a fortune. the detailing and finishing was excellent. i took it back for some minor imperfection and they sorted it out straight away.
