Bought a R reg cinq 899CC 2 months ago and was looking at repairing/"doing - it - up" i have seena few cars on here with painted consoles and wondered how u guys painted them... ie what paint and prep?

At a guess.

Go to a car store and buy in tins
a good quality plastic primer, is even possible to use an adhesive agent before the primer. Not sure if it would be necessary though? Then use a single pac paint system. One tin will be the colour and the other will be the clear lacquer which will give a strong protective coat to the paint.

There might be better specialised products, so will wait to hear from those who have done this.

hi i painted mine the same as my car.
1st you need get all the waxy coating off using panel wipe or something like it. then you need to use adhesion promoter to eat into the plastic so the paint sticks to it. then prime it. then spray your coulor. then laquer it unless your couler is a direct gloss.
