hi guys, im new to this site and have bought a mk1 punto. iv done quite a lot of work to it and will be posting pics soon. was just wondering if anyone knows a good method of badboying the bonnet or have done so thereself and could send me pics/step by step of what to do. im a second year apprentice in body repair (panel beater) so can do all the filling parts, was just wondering how you go on with welding the pieces on as to me it looks as if the bonnet will hit the lights without some sort of modification, please help guys. thanks.

you have to cut the shape brow you want then weld it, sand it with a disc on a grinder,stopper paste it, rub it down , prime it, paint it.but surely if you work in a bodyshop somebody should be able to do it for you there ?

i forgot you will have to move the bonnet forward a notch so that when you close it the bonnet doesnt smash the lights. you might also have to raise the little rubber screw thingys up a smidge also.
