Good afternoon folks,

First post here :)

Was wondering if some of you could help me.

Driving down the country over the weekend, and someone's flashed by me and managed to take the passenger side wing mirror off of my girlfriend's Fiat Punto. We were doing about 70 at the time and it's been ripped off, and I'm guessing the fitting's messed up as well although I'm not an expert on Fiats by any means.

Been looking on Ebay and it seems I can get a replacement for about £22 including delivery. Just wondering if the fitting has messed up, will I need to get a new one of those too - and if so, how much would that cost?

How easy a job are we talking replacing it as well. Are there any special tools I will need or anything like that?

Thanks,

Gary

Hiya,

I guess no-one really saw your post, it would have been answered quicker if you had put it in the punto section.

And the mk2 mirrors just kinda screw in (as in the whole mirror screws in) It will involve popping the inside off...but its quite a simple job...most you will need is allen keys and screwdrivers (y)

But if it has broken down to the base, you may need a little help getting the old screw-in bit out :)

BTW Welcome to the forum :)
