right i'm going to try and sort out the peeling lacquer on my car and i should be able to get hold of some cans for spraying, however no access to spraying equipment and was wondering if there is anyway round this? such as using a plant sprayer thing possibly or something? or just slap it on with a brush (taking time and care of course).
any help would be appreciated.
James.

i wouldnt bother because if you dont have the correct equipment you could end up making matters a lot worse i.e meaning you could end up needing a complete respray due to compatibilities of paint etc

you can get paint sprayers for cheap these days in the likes of B&Q etc., the thing is with laquer, its thicker than paint go it can be a bit more difficult to spray on., also if your laquer is pealing then you will have to remove it all and then repaint the lot other wise it wont stick and will flake again before long.,

You need a compressor and proper gun to do it properly. and cans wont give you that good a finish either. what part of the car is the laquer peeling from ? I assume it is a mettalic paint as most solid colours dont use a separate laquer. I always mix my laquer thin, this gives you the glass like finsh you want, but not recommended if you dont know what your doing as your more likely to get runs unless you are carefull.
