i recently got a mk1 5 door punto and the rear nearside manual window winder is bust. I'm pretty sure it needs replacing so iv been trying to get the door panel out to have a look and if needed replace it.

However, i cant get the window winder handle off so i cant get the panel off!
Does anyone know how you get the handle off?!

There is a little horseshoe clip that holds it on at the centre of the handle at the back that secures it onto the spindle, press the door card in around the handle and i use a pick (hook) or a fine screwdriver and you can flick it off, can be fiddly, and dont lose the clip as they spring off and like to hide Ant!
