hi there, im buying a mk1 1.2 sporting next week, i did notice that the rear wiper blade wasnt working, would it be easier to just take it out and fill in the hole and spray it (and just rain ex the windows) or get a motor from another mk1 and swap them over??
many thanks kev

That all depends on if your wanting a smooth look or not,and if your cars metallic or not!
if your car is metallic, then just get a new motor, around 10-15 pound from ebay or scrappy.
if your car is not metallic ,then you go for a fill and rub down and a spray,as long as you got a good colour match!
while your there you could flush off the lock aswell (y)

im not sure if it is or not, i think it is, its in the yellow colour they do, any idea wether this is flat colour or metalic??
n would love the fluched off look if it could be achived, if now will steal the motor out of my punto 60 s lol

bearing is likely jammed due to lack of use, motor then burns out/gear blows up.

scrappy + £5 has it fixed.

removing it, then putting a blanking plate is OK, but just keep it simple and a black bung, start trying to weld a plate over it and spray it, its gonna be costing £60+

bravo's have the wiper hole in the screen so you can stick a black rubber bung in it and it look spot on.

yer im gunnna get a metal plate welded in and spray it, got a m8 whos gunna do that and delock the boot and spray that for me, cheers for the advice fellas
