hi i am new to this site and i have got a fiat punto 75 elx 5 door,
just wondered if anyone can tell me how to get the lacquer of the bonnet without affecting the paint underneath someone has tried to spray lacquer the bonnet and made the worst job in the world ,
you can scrarch it off with your finger nail but that would take forever any help would be grate.

You could try rubbing the the bonnet down woth some fine wet + dry paper.
Becareful not to go too far tho. Or instead of needing to laquer the bonnet it will be a full respray.

is there no way of sofening the laquer i have been told if i nitromours it and wash it of quickly that might work

i dunno about anything like that I've never heard of it.
But I don't work in a bodyshop. We have a few members who do, one of them might be able to tell you about that stuff.

Powerwash it off with a steam cleaner (jet wash at the petrol station) or if you have accsess to a compressor blow it off with an airgun (blower) will prob still need repainting again tho ant!
