Hi, we have a Punto Evo GP, 2010 ‘60’ plate, when connecting iphone11 into the USB port (by gear stick) to play music it plays for a split second then stops and appears to disconnect from the phone.

However out of 4 iPhones in our house, 2 do work fine, (iPhone 8 and 11) 2 have this problem (iPhone 11 and 12)

We just can’t work out what the issue can be, anyone got any ideas?

Are they all fully charged when plugged in? Maybe trying to pull too much current if fairly low on charge. Have you tried the splitter for lightning port headphones, and power lightning port ? Try in Menu on car DELETE ALL, then DELETE USERS. Pair up again just the one phone and try again.

Also I had the same problem with my phone, the solution that I found in the forum was to avoid uploading the Phonebook after the connection. It seems that it overloads the system and media player goes bananas.
